A new DIY project to keep me busy

Following my previous DIY project experience building my first product photography table, I decided to do something about the wood slabs I had lying around in the garden. It is another table for product photography/background. I am sure I saw something similar online, but I cannot recall where now.

DIY Project

It didn’t take me long to put it together. Leaving the slabs aside, the whole thing costed £7: screws and washers. I used two slabs as a base and lined up the other 11 right over them, giving a nice and solid look and feel. It measures 35” (aprox. 89cm) x 31” (aprox. 79cm).

I don’t know about the weight though. But let’s just say that if I drop it on someone’s foot, it will hurt. So yes, it is heavy. I don’t think I will be carrying it around. But it works for images both horizontal, as a table, or vertical, as a wooden background. I might even paint the one of the sides white, just to give some variety.
